This is a new board (2022), operated by the UIS Informatics Commission (UISIC) to provide an international platform to help people advance their work with cave documentation and associated activities. It has only a few forums at present, but more will be added as the need arises. Its name resurrects the name of a very early mailing list that was operated by UISIC but which succumbed to changes in free hosting. Suggestions for further forums or improving the board are very welcome.
To help avoid nuisance users, new users will have their first few posts moderated before they appear in a forum.
Language: Although UIS has several official languages, this board basically operates under the English language so that it is reasonably understood by more speleos. However if you feel more comfortable posting in your own language then please do so, but please also add an English translation, which can usually be well enough obtained from Google Translate.
Cave locations: Please, do not post any cave locations on this board. However, hearty discussions about cave locations are certainly invited
