The General block includes forums for general cave doco discussions, doco news items, requests for doco help, lists of articles about cave doco techniques etc, and a growing list of speleo forums or mailing lists from around the world.
If you want to be advised by email of any activity in any forum or any topic within a forum, you can "subscribe" to that forum or topic after you have registered yourself on the board. Check out the Tips page to see how to subscribe to a forum or topic.
As cavedata is a specialised board there is no restriction on how heavy, deep or technical you want to get. However, no detailed cave locations, please. New specific forums can be added whenever the need arises.
The board is intended for international use, not aligned to any particular country, and nominally uses English for widest readablity. But if you need to post in another language please also include an English version, e.g. via Google-translate, to maximize responses.
Please use a descriptive subject line, and keep each posting to one main subject.
